STV broadcasts Scotland v England match

STV will bring viewers up to the minute action live from Celtic Park as Scotland take on England in a friendly match on Tuesday 18th November.

Coverage will start from 1930 with kick off at 2000.

STV sports presenter, Raman Bhardwaj will be joined for pre and post match analysis by Aberdeen FC manager Derek McInnes, Scottish International Robert Snodgrass, and former English football player and manager Terry Butcher.

The match will be commentated for STV by Gary McAllister and Derek Rae live trackside at Celtic Park.

The England v Scotland friendly that aired on STV in August 2013 was a ratings success with a reach of 1.8 million viewers. The match was STV’s best watched programme of the year with a share of 58% and an average audience of over 1 million.

Elizabeth Partyka, deputy director of channels at STV, said: “We look forward to bringing viewers dedicated STV coverage of all the build up and excitement to this friendly match. The last time Scotland and England met in a friendly we recorded our best viewing figures of the year so we anticipate Scots will tune in for every piece of the action on the 18th November.”

The match coverage will extend online with a live stream and extensive analysis at stv.tv.
