Working with a renowned chef to explore their cultural and family background, The Lost Supper takes Scottish celebrities Bill Paterson and Jayd Johnson on a journey to recreate their families’ favourite recipes.
Each 30 minute episode is packed with emotional stories involving the evocative meals shared by families across generations and the end of each show reveals the chef’s creation to the celebrities’ family as they decide if their The Lost Supper has been recreated.
Elizabeth Partyka, deputy director of channels at STV, said: “The Lost Supper combines celebrities, cooking and countryside as the chefs go on a journey with our famous faces to discover forgotten family recipes. The shows are packed with great stories as we learn a little more about our celebrities as they travel around Scotland, and viewers will need to stay tuned to see if the chefs are able to recreate the recipes the way they remember them.”
