Driving Scotland’s future creative economy
STV invests in a bursary scheme for Scottish students. Working in partnership with the Royal Television Society, STV offers 10 students each year annual bursary funding of £1,000 for the duration of their degree, along with a comprehensive programme of work placements and mentoring opportunities at STV. STV will also work closely with RTS Scotland to offer a wider programme of activities for students, including networking opportunities and industry insight sessions. The support will help participants establish a network of industry contacts and gain a fuller insight into the range of career opportunities available within the creative industries.
The third round of STV’s six-figure undergraduate bursary scheme is now open to talented students at Scottish universities, and those undertaking HND (Levels 5 and 6) courses at Scottish colleges who are embarking on Journalism, Television Production and Technology-based higher education courses.
Applications for the bursary scheme will be accepted until 30 September 2021 via www.rts.org.uk/bursaries.
