The role requires detailed knowledge of the tools and workflows inherent in successfully delivering and maintaining a project of this scale and importance.The successful candidate will have the experience and temperament to confidently control all aspects of the development process - from environments and test to performance and database management.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Media Journalist to join STV News. Based in the Western Isles, this role lies at the heart of a fully-integrated news service. Our team of Multi-Media Journalists are present across STV’s newsrooms and play a key role in broadcast and digital and social news output. The Multi-Media Journalist will generate stories and cover them for all platforms. You will regularly shoot and edit content and send back to newsrooms from location, contribute video and text to STV News’ digital output. You will be driven to identify great stories for STV News consumers on all platforms. The successful candidate will be provided with extensive Multi Media Journalist training, mentoring and support.

We are STV’s in house creative agency. We create advertising campaigns for STV’s products and content, and we take good care of the STV brand, ensuring everything our viewers see reinforces our strong brand identity, image and positioning. As a Creative you’ll be responsible for developing original and unique multiplatform ad campaigns, driving audience growth and engagement. This may include output across Digital, Press, Out of Home, Radio, TV, Social Media and more. You will also provide brand support and development across all STV branded comms from company initiatives to product development.
