STV Creative goes global with Cupid Plc

An advertising campaign devised by STV Creative will be used to promote a specialist dating website internationally.
The TV adverts for, a website for over 40s looking for love, will be shown in Australia, as well as the UK and Ireland, to promote the site to potential users.
The campaign includes 1x30” and 2x40” adverts. The adverts will also be displayed across all of Cupid’s social networking sites; Twitter, Facebook pages and Cupid’s YouTube channel. The campaign is supported by online activity, including display ads targeted to mature singles (Adult 40+). A Facebook App also been launched.
This is the first campaign by STV Creative to be utilised by a client outside the UK and adverts will be on screen from today (Monday, 3rd December).

The campaign was commissioned by Cupid plc marketing team from their Edinburgh head office.
Cupid CEO Bill Dobbie says that “The new site is designed specifically for the older dating market and as with most dating sites users can search for love, friendship or fun. It's an identifiable market and a niche approach from LoveAgain can target the gaps - the hope is that by selecting a specific group for dating, that matches will be more accurate.”
