STV will bring viewers all the action live from Celtic Park on Tuesday 1st October from 1930 as Celtic take on Barcelona in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
STV sports presenter, Raman Bhardwaj, will be joined by special guests live trackside for the UEFA Champions League match. Raman will be joined by former Celtic and Wales striker John Hartson, and Malky Mackay, former Celtic and Scotland defender and current manager of Cardiff City.
A special half-hour preview show will be on air from 2305 on Monday, 30th September with all the pre-match build up and latest team information. On UEFA Champions League Special, Raman will be joined in the studio by the assistant Scotland manager, Mark McGhee, and Graham Hunter. Writer, broadcaster and Barcelona resident, Graham Hunter is one of the UK’s most influential writers on Spanish football and author of Barca: The Making of the Greatest Team of the World.
STV’s comprehensive coverage of the Celtic v Barcelona match will also extend online on Tuesday 1st October with live steaming at stv.tv/sport. During the match there will be live interactive chat on stv.tv, with viewers able to get in touch via Twitter #CelticUCL.
On Tuesday, 1st October, STV will be on air from 1930 with a live programme, featuring John Hartson, Malky Mackay, and Graham Hunter to take viewers up to kick-off at 1945.
UEFA Champions League Live: Celtic v Barcelona will have commentary from Derek Rae and Mark McGhee for STV. Rae has commentated on the game at the highest level over the past few decades, covering World Cups, European Championships, the UEFA Champions League and Europa League.
