STV broadcasts Scotland Tonight Europe Special

Scotland Tonight will broadcast live from the European Parliament in Brussels on Wednesday 2nd April examining the key issues for voters ahead of the European Parliament Elections.
In a Scotland Tonight first, Rona Dougall will present a special one-hour programme from 2230 to examine all the key issues for voters in this year’s European Parliament Elections on 22nd May and discuss what would happen to Scotland’s relationship with the rest of Europe if there is a Yes vote in September’s referendum on independence.
With just 50 days to go until the European Elections, Scotland Tonight Europe Special will feature all six of Scotland’s MEPs, senior European politicians and international commentators.
MEPs from Scotland’s four main parties will engage in a live European Elections debate.  The politicians taking part are: SNP’s Ian Hudghton, Scottish Labour’s David Martin, Scottish Conservatives’ Struan Stevenson and Scottish Liberal Democrats’ George Lyon.  
Also appearing live from Brussels is the SNP MEP Alyn Smith and the Scottish Labour MEP Catherine Stihler.  In addition, the programme will feature the Scottish Green Party and UKIP.
