STV Productions has partnered with Red Arrow Entertainment Group to produce two TX episodes of a brand new format, The Lost Supper.
The Lost Supper goes in search of celebrities’ forgotten family recipes. Working with a renowned chef to explore the cultural and family background, the celebrity in each episode is taken on a journey to recreate their family’s favourite recipe. Each episode is packed with emotional stories involving the evocative meals shared by families across generations. The end of each show reveals the chef’s creation to the celebrities’ family as they decide if their The Lost Supper has been recreated.
The two, 30 minute episodes of The Lost Supper are funded by STV and Red Arrow Entertainment Group, and will be shown on STV in May.
The Lost Supper is an original concept from format creator Genetic. Red Arrow International will distribute the new format internationally.
Alan Clements, Director of Content at STV, said: “The concept of The Lost Supper is one we really think will resonate with international audiences, and it’s great to be working with Red Arrow on this, as part of our strategic partnership between the two companies.”
Michael Schmidt, Chief Creative Officer of Red Arrow Entertainment Group, said: “We are delighted to be working with STV again on this creative new show. There’s great demand from broadcasters for both food-based formats, and shows that see celebrities go on emotive and personal journeys; this format weaves both of these together perfectly and we are looking forward to taking this show out to the world.”
