For rugby fans, there is plenty to get excited about as everyone gears up for the Rugby World Cup 2015 and especially on STV which is Scotland’s home of rugby throughout the Rugby World Cup.
Viewers will be able to watch every match live either on STV or the STV Player and if they miss a game they can catch up on the action on the STV Player too.
Not only that, during the Rugby World Cup, our STV City channels are teaming up with Scottish Rugby to bring two exclusive TV programmes called Scotland Rugby 2015 which celebrate Rugby in Scotland to fans across the country.
Scotland Rugby 2015, 8pm, Tuesday 22 September, STV Glasgow and STV Edinburgh
Filmed on location at Heriot’s Rugby Club in Edinburgh, Scotland Rugby 2015 will be an hour long Q&A presented by Scotland’s most capped international and record points scorer Chris Paterson with guests Mike Blair, Al Kellock, who captained Scotland at the last Rugby World Cup in 2011 and Jason White, who led the team at the 2007 tournament. As the Scotland players prepare to face Japan in their first match, the programme will feature discussion and analysis of the team’s chances in the tournament from both fans and the former players.
